Summary
Geology of construction materials focuses on the origin, occurrence, constitution and characteristics of the wide variety of natural rocks and minerals used in the construction industry. Those include aggregates, dimension stone, raw materials for inorganic binders, structural clay products and minor construction materials. Attention is paid to the test methods and to the physical and chemical factors controlling potential failure of materials.
Requirements to final exam
Final exam will be in the form of written test consisting of 30 questions.
