This module is designed as an introductory course in European Integration, tailored for first-year EPS students who have not studied the European Union before, both from non-EU and EU countries background. Its three 160-minutes sessions will cover three main domains: EU history, EU legal framework and institutions, and EU policies.
Upon completing this course the students will have become familiar with the defining moments and crises in EU history, the Union’s institutional set-up and legal framework, and its scope of powers and policies. They will also have mastered basic terminology of European integration studies.
