Development and Testing of Nanotheragnostic Systems: An Overview [DVA1163].
Course Objective

This course introduces modern experimental systems employing nanomaterials for therapeutic and diagnostic applications, including:

* Active targeted drug delivery
* Smart wound dressings and skin covers
* Encapsulation techniques
* Nanotheragnostic systems for personalized medicine

The course consists of four lectures, one practical session (or online demonstration), and one consultation day.

* Development of Nanotheragnostic Systems (encapsulation, functionalization, antibody introduction, optimization)
* Biological Testing of Nanomaterials
* Clinical Trials, Medical Devices, and Certification
* Practicals: Dye Encapsulation into Nanomaterials and Release Measurement

Course Completion

Credit (Zápočet): Attendance at lectures and practical sessions.

Examination: Submission of an essay on an assigned topic (maximum two A4 pages, PDF or DOCX format).
